Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are in safe and working condition.
Manage a team of drivers, providing training, performance evaluations, and ongoing support.
Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, procurement, and dispatch teams, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Implement and maintain effective fleet tracking systems to monitor vehicle location, performance, and fuel consumption.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in fleet management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using fleet management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
