(HSI) is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our facility in La Porte, TX.
This position works as a liaison between the Customer and HOERBIGER, as well as executes all order entry and quotation activities.
Assists and organizes activities throughout the supply chain in order to support the Customer and HOERBIGER Sales.
Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Act as the main contact person for and (pro-)actively communicate with our customers and sales representatives Process Sales/Service orders and local purchases in an ERP-system, with competence and efficiency Work inside ERP workflow in support of either branch or direct customer transactions, support preparation of quotations, and entry of customer orders Compile, sort, verify and process invoices.
Coordinate all AR and AP problems with FICO Create local purchase orders for materials and services needed to fulfill system demands Accurately process inventory duties as necessary:
physical counts, shelving materials, stocking materials, receiving materials into stock, pulling materials and packaging (as needed) Monitor and proactively follow up on open Sales/Service/Purchase Orders on a daily basis and work in close alignment with Supply Chain functions in order to ensure high process effectiveness, efficiencies and customer requirements are met Influence material stocking levels, making sound judgment on market trends and customer seasonal demands.
Keep inventory turns high with low dead stock values Analyze commodity prices with capability and confidence to establish high profit gains where attainable in the market Working within the system and with data to ensure we meet the customers' expectations for deliveries on time and conditions as specified in the PO.
Actively update and keep master data and orders accurate at all times.
Follow the standard processes and utilize systems and tools to its full extent and according to global & regional guidelines KPI monitoring and alignment with KAM:
OTD/OCR, Overdues, etc.

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Employee must be willing to work overtime when needed in relation to work loads and or customer's needs.
Technical or Functional Knowledge Supply Chain/Computer Skills:
Good understanding of sales order/supply chain processes Good knowledge of SAP modules (mainly MM, SD), the integration of those and the concept of material requirements planning within an ERP-system Ability to execute in a highly integrated ERP system Strong technical background and willingness to learn the application of HOERBIGER products and services.
Ability to analyze commodity prices with capability and confidence to establish high profit gains where attainable in the market Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) Education and/or
Experience:
Qualified to a High School Diploma or equivalent standard is required, any additional education a plus.
One to three years of experience in a project coordination, SAP order processing or customer service role with similar environment and industry to description above.
A passion for the Customer and a desire to succeed through team work.
Continuous improvement mind-set.
Experience and ability in team-working with cross-functional experts/managers.
Advanced knowledge on ERP-systems.
Advanced industry product knowledge.
