Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned.
):
Conduct modern and interactive seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions, both live and virtual for Operators, Mechanics, and Rotating Equipment Engineers.
Adapt and optimize existing technical training programs on the topics of Reciprocating Compressors Plans and prepares training sessions and corresponding material (schedules, agendas, training material).
Responsible for proper training administration (statistics, feedback etc.
) Evaluates skills of participants and provide Feedback to them.
Determines overall effectiveness of programs and trainings and implementing improvements as necessary.
Onboards new technical trainers within the company.
Proactively maintaining own technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publication.
Collaborate with business function stakeholders to evolve and expand curricula, leveraging best practices and innovative learning methods.
Support the growth of the Hoerbiger training initiative by working closing with global and regional sales teams.
Ability to travel 50% regionally and globally.
What you should bring with you Technical or Functional Knowledge:
Proven experience as technical trainer Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Hands on experience maintaining reciprocating compressor components.
Understanding the repair scope and applicable standards and procedures of compressor components.
Familiarity with energy industry processes requiring reciprocating compressors (upstream, midstream, and downstream).
Experience and Essential Requirements:

years industry experience working with reciprocating compressors or engines, preference to hands on / field experience.
Expert knowledge in the repair and maintenance of compressors and components.
Communicates effectively (verbal/written) with internal/external customers.
Writes clearly and informatively; presents information effectively; able to create and deliver technical presentations.
Excellent presentation and training ability, preferred 3
years as a technical trainer.
Balances team and individual responsibilities.
Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views.
Gives and welcomes feedback.
Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
Puts success of team above own interests.
Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
Recognizes accomplishments of other team members.
Native level fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages are a beneficial.
