Training Associate

Precision Resource Company has an immediate need for a Training Associate for a contract to hire in La Porte, TX.
This position is responsible for the day to day operation of the computer based training for field employees and oversees all activity in the computer lab. Position reports to the Business Unit Training Manager.

Prepare work stations for Classes, New Hire Applications, and Orientation Videos
Create Gatefeed accounts for employees and applicants
Verify and assign training courses to employees via Gatefeed
Setup employees to view Orientation videos
Observe trainees to prevent cheating, theft, and disturbances
Ensure all employees properly sign in before entering the computer lab
Provide assistance to trainees with weak computer skills as well as any technical difficulties
Assist with any site specific training, via Gatefeed or third party website
Maintain a log of classes taken by each employee on the sign in sheets
Keep Lobby Central up to date with employee/applicant's location
1Supervise and direct computer lab assistants both full time and temporary
Maintain Computer Lab Procedure Manual
Assist employees on pre-enrollment for TWIC, as needed
Keep adequate supply of training handouts including tests and answer keys in case of technical or power failure
Assist other departments, as needed
Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Training Manager and / or the NCCER Coordinator
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have intermediate computer knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Must demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel
Must be able to accept instructions/delegation and perform in a fast paced, high pressure setting
Maintain strict confidentiality of all Human Resources information is required
Detail oriented work requiring a high degree of confidentiality
Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
Ability to work as part of a team and cross train when needed
Requires thorough knowledge of all office machines and equipment
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to stand and walk
Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
