Operations Manager - Maintenance (Industrial) - Oil, Gas, Chemical, and Power

We are a General Contractor specializing in Industrial Maintenance, Turn-Arounds and Construction.
The position will administer assigned contracts to ensure compliance with our company policies, as well as client requirements and policies. Will coordinate the Company's management system on all contracts and direct the day-to-day operations of assigned projects to achieve overall corporate objectives to insure maximum operating results. This is a key position in the company with direct report to the company Vice President and very high visibility.
This position is based in Houston, TX and requires travel.
Communicates with assigned Project Managers on a regular basis to determine project status.
Meets regularly with client representative at each job to determine client requirements, discuss performance and promote favorable client relations.
Implements and manages respective portion of the company strategic plan.
Identifies and implements value-added services to the client.
Assures that safety programs are fully implemented on each project.
Provides marketing support for existing and new contracts.
Ensures that job-wide resources are coordinated effectively.
Assures collection of account receivables and manages margin goals of assigned projects.

Experience & Qualifications:
Prefer four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related degree
Experience in project management over multiple industrial sites
Significant experience, 15-20 yrs, required at the Project Manager level and above overseeing the maintenance of petrochemical facilities, refineries, and / or power plants. All with an emphasis on mechanical crafts, mechanical integrity and reliability.
Recent experience working for a general contractor
Experience directing multiple project managers highly preferred
Experience in managing contract execution and financial reporting required
Project Controls experience
Lump sum experience
Extensive petrochemical experience desirable
Must be able to identify, promote and execute a vision of leadership
Must be able to learn and then apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
Must be able to support financial reporting and forecasting and interface with internal accounting.
Willing to travel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
