Business Development Manager
Overview
Austin Industrial is a leading General Contractor who provides construction, maintenance and plant services to a variety of industrial customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Maintenance Operations Group based in La Porte, Texas.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers, and the establishment of productive and profitable relationships with external organizations. Key responsibilities of this role include developing annual sales plans to meet corporate goals, managing an existing database of customers and sourcing new customers through various methods.
Key Competencies:
Must have impeccable oral and written communication skills
High degree of business acumen and a results focused way of working
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe products
Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and service existing accounts
Highly motivated with a strong sense of accountability
Capability to follow through and deliver on overlapping requirements
Qualifications
Abilities Required:
Travel required min 60%
Ability to facilitate meetings
Present proposals to customers
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Development focused role within the Oil and Gas/Industrial Construction/Refinery sector with an emphasis on Maintenance.
Experience with Cosential or related Client Relationship Management system preferred.
Completing EOIs, RFIs and RFPs upon customer request.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
