Responsibilities Purpose of the position: -- Drive and deliver continuous and quantifiable improvement in the operational effectiveness and efficiency for Linde's largest plants in the US and Mexico in the areas of instrumentation, analytical and process control. -- Ensure that all plants in Houston, HyCO and Cantarell satisfy contractual and legislative requirements by implementing best practice in instruments, controls, and measurement strategies that result in the required reliability and efficiency performance of plant machinery and systems at optimal cost. -- Develop appropriate tools, techniques, practices and methods to ensure combined Field Instrumentation and process control objectives are attained to deliver World Class Performance Control Systems. -- Develop and implement the process control strategy for Houston Hub to support the network, hardware, and control systems for Houston, HyCO, HYCO Remote Operation Center (ROC) and Cantarell plants. -- Support the plants with troubleshooting, system enhancements, and problem resolution. Work closely with the support team and individual site field personnel to solve technical problems. What you will enjoy doing:   -- Ensure that all control system initiatives support our goal that no one gets hurt with zero process safety incidents -- Configure and maintain process control systems necessary to locally control and remotely operate plants to drive best practice and efficiency. -- Contribute to and maintain LiMSS content and related Maximo or SAP PM job plans. Support: As-built drawings Standards and procedures Execute personal work scope Coordinate with central and field staff as required Ensure projects delivers commitments of scope, on time, on budget, and to required levels of quality. - Assist Region/Plants with direct instrumentation, controls, and measurement support or other extraordinary controls system support. - Analyze failure for root cause and recommend corrective measures - Ensure that all controls and measurement work is accomplished to required codes, procedures, internal and external standards and that EMOC protocols are diligently followed with no exceptions. Follow programming practices developed for existing systems. Document existing systems and maintain the documentation in a shared engineering environment. - Support the proposal and commercialization process providing input on scope and area estimates -Participate on select due diligence exercises - Provide the interface between the ROC and the sites in selecting and maintaining wide area network equipment. - Design and configure systems to be used for data storage, KPI calculations, support control system design and Quality Control. -Perform plant efficiency improvements and Lead supervisory, advisory, and advance control projects. - Provide support for other Linde facilities as needed.   Qualifications Do you have what it takes? -- Strong project management skills -- Strong application engineering skills -- Attention to detail -- Excellent oral and written communication skills -- Strong Technical skills in the following areas would be beneficial: Regulatory controls, Real-time optimization, ASU/CO2 / HyCO process operations, Process Controls, Computer hardware, computer networking, telecommunications Understand programming for complex process control systems Required education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering           Required qualifications: Minimum 10 Years experience is required in supporting plant instrumentation including transmitters, valves, switches, solenoids, DCS/PLCs, analyzers.           Other qualifications: Education in a technical field Experience in plant operation, computer systems and networking is a plus Operation or process design experience a plus Travel may be required up to 20%.ID 2018-8206

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
