Manager of Advanced Services, AIM (South Region)

Job Description Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for a Manager of Advanced Services to join our Industry Services team in La Porte, Texas.        Intertek's Industry Services team provides technical solutions that help customers maximize operational efficiency, ensure asset reliability, improve quality, and minimize safety risks.  Some of our many service areas include inspection, non-destructive and materials testing, technical training, engineering, surveying, QA/QC, and supplier auditing.    The Manager of Advanced Services will support the Industry Services business by generating new sales opportunities within inspection services. This position will be responsible for the effectiveness and uniformity of the departmental operations and is continually responsible to improve the efficiency and quality of the Advanced Services department within the region.  This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong ethics, the ability to work within a team and multi-task, along with excellent time management skills.  We're looking for somebody with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an advanced technology within the inspection industry.   Duties:   Develop tactical and strategic customer plans to meet and exceed budgeted plans, sales, and margin goals. Participate in client stewardship meetings and sales calls as required.  Participate in the procurement of all required supplies and consumables. Handle primary communication with all advanced services laboratory customers. Work with Sales Director on identifying new programs and clients for business development. Ensure that all technical training is completed to meet internal standards and client requirements. Generate sales opportunities in conjunction with the core business competencies with an emphasis on obtaining new clients. Provide sales leadership with assigned customers through the formulation and execution of strategies that will support the customer's business needs. Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, customer trends, and installed base and market levels of pricing for supported classes of services or products. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all opportunities and disposition opportunities as they evolve by utilizing the company CRM tool. Make recommendations for continued growth, both organically and inorganically. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Travel as required.   Requirements:    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or a minimum of 10 years of experience in an advanced technology within the inspection industry. Proven experience with advanced services including UT, EC, TOFD, Slofec, PAUT, HTHA, X-ray, and other inspection. Excellent communication and team oriented skills. Knowledge in Microsoft programs with strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills. 5 years of progressive management experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver's license. Ability and willingness to travel within the region. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. In-depth knowledge of oil and gas applications for services and solutions. Integrative and inclusive team working style. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
